Enforcing legal helmet guidelines that reference FMVSS No. has been tough for natives. In the meantime, NHTSA will work with acceptable National, State, and native legislation enforcement organizations to train law enforcement officers to establish noncompliant helmets while also growing training for judges and prosecutors to adjudicate helmet law violations.
